Treks
1 day trek. Several routes are available outside the town of Jianzha.Leave the hotel around 9, outward leg of loop, have lunch, continue the return portion on a different path to hotel by 5:30 pm. A simple sandwich pack lunch will be provided by the hotel for a fee.
5 day trek
These treks are custom designed with the Tibetan guide’s advice. They may include an ascent on a 4,000+ mountain peak in the county. The degree of challenge in the trek depends on the choices of the participants.
Jeep Tours
1 day, 3 day and 5 day jeep tours are available. They may well include any of the above mentioned experiences in the trekking section. Each jeep tour will be tailored to suit the desires of the participants.
Jianzha County
The hardy eastern edge of Qinghai province. Landscape contrasts from terraced grain fields to rolling hills to green and brown grasslands to high rock mountains. It is on the eastern edge of old Tibet. Many trails with new panoramas over every hill are asking to be discovered! A local Tibetan guide is a must to capture the rich Tibetan history of the country trails.
